In 1947 Jim and his sister Mavis see something unexpected in their backyard: a magnificent female huia, seventy years later, scientists are eager to learn the fate of that last huia and the ask for Jim's help.

Ana drives Logan and Jim to the pub and it looks as if the dreaded Carson family are still on the scene.
Jim is attacked by Daniel Carson and his gang. Ana's car is vandalised and she has no idea where to start looking for where the huia was last sighted.

Daniel and Russ Carson try and shoot Olivia. In the tunnel young Jim and Mavis hear a train approach and suddenly stop.
The Carsons are hit and caught as they chase after young Jim and Mavis. In present time, Ana and Logan see a figure about to laser the train.
On the way to lay a police complaint, Logan and Ana call into the cemetery and see that Mavis's grave has been desecrated.
